Power of choice to be contented!

The Greatest Challenge in life is discovering who you are and the second greatest is being happy with what you have. Many of the youngsters suffer in both these two steps. I will share details about a young rickshaw driver from Chennai. There was a video clip on a rickshaw driver name Annadurai in Chennai, making customers happy by his high tech know-how. Goggled and found his web site http://www.amazingauto.in. He is a motivational speaker invited in colleges in India.
Annadurai is a high school dropout but manage to speak English. His website under about me describes about his mission “The most important thing which i believe in is "Athiti Devo Bavah" or how i like to say, "Customers are my real GOD.". He provides services in Chennai and customers once visits books his rickshaw and wait for him to come. He keeps his rickshaw clean and his smile adds to a bright shine. He thinks that his duty is to get his customers to their destination in the quickest, safest and cheapest way possible. Annadurai’s auto has top-notch amenities. Free WiFi, mobile charging point, 40 magazines, 10 newspapers, TV, laptop, and tablets; Annadurai's 'Amazing Auto' has it all. Annadurai gives free rides to all teachers. "Be it doctors, engineers or even the president, they were groomed by teachers and so I respect them," he expressed in an interview to a TV channel. He also gives free rides to lovers on Valentine's Day, mothers with their kids on Mother's Day, and fathers of Father's Day. On Children's Day, school children to enjoy free rides in his auto. With his own website and a mobile app, Annadurai is very popular. He also has a Facebook page with more than 10,000 followers, and has given two TED talks. Annadurai intends to change the way autos work. Annadurai told Media "A lot of things have changed today, except for the auto. Most auto rickshaws are identical as they were decades ago and there is no development. I want to bring a change in this area," He is the real hero from our vicinity. Like any other Rickshaw driver he also used to lead a normal life. But his outlook changed. He opted to choose to be like an eagle rather than a duck.
Have you heard of 'Power of choice is that you can be a duck or an eagle? If you get up in the morning expecting to have a bad day, you'll rarely disappoint yourself. Stop complaining. Don't be a duck. Be an eagle. Ducks quack and complain. Eagles soar above the crowd. I always keep telling myself, be stronger amidst of rejections, insults, jealousy, bullying, mobbing, sarcasm, exploitation, injuries….! Keep going! You are a very special person and only you can accomplish the reason to which you were born to achieve. Your life is significant and can make a change, so stimulate your true self! Many of us are like that always quacking and complaining. Let’s decide to change attitude and become an eagle. Like any common rickshaw driver, not so friendly, informal, at times impolite driver to a customer friendly service provide approach made drastic changes in Annadurai’s life. He decided to make some changes. As per the customers demand amended the facilities. He earns very well and customers happily book his Rickshaw. Customers call him for appointments on his cell phone or leave a message on it. Annadurai made a different choice. He decided to stop quacking like ducks and start soaring like eagles. Keep Soaring high, Have an eagle life.  Realizing your self is the key to many modern day problems of youth.
Realizing self is the challenge before many. Especially in a society where there is dos and don’ts for women and men. But there are few who come out of this barricade and prove themselves as we are not less than anyone. Many social reformers were happy to read the article on two sisters Jyoti and Neha who are running barbershop of their dad in a small village in Uttarpradesh. It is indeed achievement for breaking the stereotypes. Gillete India picked this story and made a beautiful advisement on it. They are the real role models for youth for realizing true self.
