Being conscious of the connectedness of life!

Being conscious of the connectedness of life!

There was a farmer called Chackochan who grew award-winning corn in Trivandrum. Every year his corn crop gets the best corn award. When he got award for the fifth time he was called to share his success story. Chackochan’s reply made the audience freeze. “When i started corn faming five years back my Appachan (Dad) warned me about the loss due to the poor quality. My focus was to improve the quality year by air. I understood the essential fact that the wind picks up honey dust from the growing corn and whirls it from field to field.  If my neighbors produce substandard corn, cross-pollination will progressively degrade the superiority of my corn. So i started to distribute seeds to my neighbors so that all can grow good corn. Nature is having a basic principle of shared living connecting all. I must help my neighbors grow good corn”. He ended his speech amidst of non-stop round of applauds.
Chackochan, the corn farmer is very much conscious of the connectedness of life. His corn cannot get better unless his neighbor’s corn also gets better.  Those who choose to live well must help others to live well, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. We also have breed goodness to enjoy goodness. If you sow goodness you can reap goodness, simple. Learn the life skills to live the life with bliss. Those who lack life skills are called nerds, as you know. But many youngsters don’t like to share anything, they feel life is for self and others will create nuisance, so better is to stop interacting.
You are happy to brand you as nerd? Oh...my dear youngster, one day will come where you shall feel otherwise. Please understand that success breed success and goodness bring goodness. Accept that I am able to implement unquestionable integrity and can make a difference to not only the people around me, but to a lot more than that. Realize that as I change, the world around me changes, because the energy I create in my inner world starts flowing into my circumstances, my interactions, my sphere of karmas, etc. The energy which is made positive will bring in return in the form of a cyclic process. Realize that as we take this pledge to share goodness and abide by it for a few days, we will start realizing the immense potential that it possesses!
